Our farm is located in Broumov, overlooking the Broumov Wall, Ruprechtický špičák (Ruprechtický Mountain) and the centre of Broumov, with its dominant local Benedictine Monastery.
We started breeding in 1995. At that time, it would never have even occurred to us that we would breed the animals we have today. It all began innocently, with one ostrich, which stood out and was something very exotic at the time. However, over time, we felt sorry for him having to run alone on the farm, so we bought another one and that’s how it all began.
Now, in addition to the ostrich, our farm also has a nandu pamp ostrich. We are also one of the largest breeders of llamas in the Czech Republic, including tame llamas, guanaka llamas and alpaca llamas. In 2008, we added camels to our farm. However, we also breed traditional farm animals, like rabbits, hens, geese, ducks, sheep, goats, pigs and many others.
Breeding animals is our hobby and it takes up almost all of our free time. Taking care of the animals is an inherent part of our work, but the fact that our animals are healthy and are breeding is rewarding for us and makes us and our visitors happy.
Kindergarten and grade school children from all over the Hradec Králové region regularly visit our farm with their teachers and tutors .
